Julie Hedfelt was working as the assistant manager at the Bill Miller's on the corner of Huebner and George in San Antonio on Aug. 24 when she says she was poisoned by another employee.

She says she was about to take a quick break, and she asked an employee to get her a salad. Heldfelt claims that employee secretly poured bleach on the salad.

That would be easy to prove. Also bleach is one thing its hard to poison yourself with as your stromach has a automatic reaction to it.

Pretty sad that she ate a Bill Miller's salad and didn't noticed the bleach in it!

There are a million jokes that could be stated here, but I will let your imaginations run wild. Yet another reason to eat at Rudy's, County Line, Augies, Porky J's, etc...

If the corporation really tried to cover it up,
I hope they lose a lot of money.

This is almost positively a scam, with the employees concocting this story in order to get a lawyer and rip off the company. And even if it isn't, why would the company be at fault? It had nothing to do with her ingesting the bleach. Seems to me her anger and lawsuit should be directed at the employee who tried to poison her, but of course that's a minimum wage earner with no money, so go for the deep pockets, which leads me back to the scam...

BG...did you read the full article. Her claim is that management was told about the incident as reported by other employees and claimed to not know. They'll have to sort that one out in court.

I'm just wondering if there was any evidence saved from the cloroxed salad? Or is the only proof the testimony of the two employees?

I have a hard time believing that ....even at Bill Millers. But I'm very allergic to Chlorine based products.....my nose would have sniffed that out in 2.5 secs.

Where is Huebner and George? I know of a Bill Miller's off of George road & NW Military. Maybe Kens5 got the address wrong. That's just messed up to put bleach in another workers salad.

For there to have been enough bleach in it to have caused problems, you would've smelled AND tasted it. Something smells here - and it ain't the bleach!
