Do it yourself. It's really easy. If I could do it, you surely could do it too ( if your house is one story). Check online for installation videos. You also can take with you a flyers at Home Depot/Lowes. Is a nice weekend project

If you have trees and a 1-story house, look into gutters with Leafguard or Gutter Helmet to keep the leaves out. Cleaning gutters is a messy job!

I considered it, and although i have one-story house, its a drop elevation so its really tall in the front. not sure my ladder could reach there and even then i'd need a second person

We had gutters installed on our house when we bought it through DR Horton. We had to have two small issues fixed (under our warranty) on them but the company that did them has provided outstanding service for those two issues. The first issue was that a work truck must have backed into the gutter in our front because there was a small dent in the middle. The second was a slight leak in a downspout 90 degree connection when the rain was REALLY heavy a couple of weeks back.

Both times the gutter people came, first a supervisor came and scoped out the job, and then he sent the crew out in a couple of days. I couldn't ask for more professional or better service, here's their info from a business card the supervisor gave me.

The company is Continuous Rain Gutters Inc. and Kelsey & Company
11888 Starcrest Suite 109
SA, TX 78247
210-494-1006
fax 210-490-7414
cell 210-860-7721

Give them a call I highly recommend their customer service and our gutters look perfect.

How much is the typical charge per foot? Labor only. Small part of the roof, maybe 35' or so. One story house.
