I wouldn't recommend the 410/Marbach area to anyone...horrible (drugs, crime).

How about further south on 1604, areas like Alamo Ranch, Villages of Westcreek, Wolfcreek, etc?

I am looking at the Villages of Westcreek. I am guessing that it is not the same neighborhood as the Vistas of Westcreek. Are they close? Thanks.

OK for what? If you're looking for an urban setting, then no, it's not OK. Take a look at the sticky for relocation. Most of your questions will be answered there.

Westover Crossing is nice from what I've seen. It's close to Seaworld and the new hospital and lots of new businesses. Plus it's easy access to highway 151.

It's not THAT close to Westcreek but close enough. It's inside loop 1604.

Sounds like you are on the right track!

Thank you

I talked to the realtor of one house in particular (Westover Crossing) and she said it is very safe and the surrounding areas are good, too. She said there is a lot of military in the neighborhood.

westover crossing is very nice. My husband and i used to rent a home in westover place. It was a very family oriented area. Lots of people walking their dogs and kids on bikes during the evenings. we had no complaints. we ended up moving cause it was time to downsize. i would recommend this area. just be aware the high school is down the road and so is the middle and elementary school so you do have school zones around potranco and dugas rd.
