Good Morning,

My Wife is retired (but not myself) and has just started doing some Crafting. Right now her projects involve gluing glass beads, cabachons, glass tiles, plastic gems, wooden cut outs, thick paper letters, etc. to stained wooden picture Frames and Crosses.

She has tried several brands of glue and has mixed luck with adhesion. She is looking for one glue that would work on all mentioned items.

She has asked folks at Hobby Lobby and Michael's but has yet to find one that will work. I know they are out there.

Do any of you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Try a two part epoxy, or maybe 100% silicone. You can get 5 minute epoxy . The silicone will take 24 hours to dry. Both should be found at hobby stores, Lowe's, Home depot or maybe even Walmart.

All this is coming from Hubby over my shoulder.

Everything that I've used Liquid Nails on has never (ever) come apart.

Wait, that sounds bad....

Check out the gardenweb forums. There are many threads for different craft ideas, etc etc etc.

That Home Site! Forums - GardenWeb

I've read that the GE Silicone II for windows and doors works well on outdoor items. Things such as taking a discarded bowling ball and covering it with glass tiles, gem stones, etc., making 'bottle bugs' and other outdoor items.

Good luck to your wife on her projects!

Just curious - but has she checked out this group? I think they have shows, etc on a regular basis...
