I see ads for zero %, I just don't pay attention becasue I'm not buying a car. I think almost all the dealers have a zero deal on something. I bet you can even bargain on interest if your credit is good. Try it, the worst they can say is "no"

most dealers will offer 0% interest (if you have perfect credit) or a cash rebate around $500-$1500 off. Basically I see it as a game either way. If you get forgo the 0% interest, you end up paying that rebate back because of the interest.

Best bet is to negotiate each stage of the purchase above and beyond the incentives that are being offered.

If you're buying a FORD, look on the internet for something called an XPLAN and then find an XPIN. usually people in Ford forums can give you a pin. This is something that forces the dealers to give you their bottom price without having to haggle for it. That's what I did.

Regardles of any deals and rebates - negotiate. Go there late in the afternoon, wear out your dealer. Never buy the sticker price. Sales are bad, parking lots full of cars, and no customers. Even if they don't make much on your car sale, they will still want to sell it hoping to get even with the next customer. If you find a car you like stay firm with your numbers, and be prepared to walk out if you do not get the deal. You will not walk out far, your dealer will call you back and say that he will " talk with his superviser". It's a game. Try to be the winner.
Some good tactics here: CarBuyingTips.com new car buying guide, avoiding dealer scams, new cars, used car buying
Also know your credit report before you go, it will give you the upper hand in negotiation. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
Good luck!
