Default Anyone from S.A. going camping any time soon?

Not sure how to word this so it wouldn't get deleted or moved to the camping thread.. Just wondering who from San Antonio ( or surrounding areas is going, where and when. Tent or camper. doesn't matter. We just to decided to go this weekend. Weather should be great for it after all this rain and FINALLY we can have a campfire!!.

Randolph Brooks has a very nice camper trailer in their repo department. Didn't show the interior....but it's looks really nice on the outside. We'll go if someone has the truck and the trailer hitch!

We're going to Garner next weekend ( had lots of sites left last i checked) but haven't been there for 2 years. The weekend before is going to be tough. People start their Thanksgiving stay then. I know were going to Guadalupe the Wednesday before to drop off the trailer then going back Thursday night.

Our favorites places are Gudalaupe ( love the park, not the pottys), Palmetto,( nice potty), McKinney, Pedernales, Kerrville.. just off the top of my head.

Naaaa! It's great weather now. But then I sleep in a travel trailer, with a heater, and my own potty!

Not really....it's actually been great weather, but NO COLDER, PLEASE!!!

I would insist on my own potty. I was just reading a blog about this girl's terrible memory of girl scout camp.....one of the girls had to potty in the middle of the night, and the outhouse was so old, the floor broke through and the little girl ended up shin-deep in poop. I would not have gotten a badge on that trip, unless there was one for "most grossed out".....or "I puked 17 times and there was STILL stuff coming up!" The blogger has "germophobe issues" to this day.
