Default Seeking Feedback on Planet Fitness

I've heard Planet Fitness is consumer-friendly: has a no-contract option (loving thought of that!!) and is $10 monthly. Am looking at 410 & McCollough (sp?) location. Has anyone here used that particular location? I'd prefer no contract because I can't guarantee that I'll keep using it as reliably as they'll be deducting from my bank card. Seeking the good, the bad, and the ugly about said gym. Thanks Y'all!!

Hubby has been to that location since its near his work. It seems smaller than the other locations at Fredricksburg or Bandera. The facilities are kept up, machines are in good order, not much of a crowd right after 5pm after work but I dunno after 6 pm. We have not been in about a few months ever since the Bandera/Huebner one opened up and using the Fredricksburg one instead. Try the guest pass thingy and see if it's something for you. They give a lot of tours, see staff give them all the time when we're working out, about 2 or 3 average on a 35 minute workout session.

do they do classes, etc at planet fitness? Or is it just a gym with no frills?

I'm trying to decide between curves and a regular gym & am also looking at the planet fitness on 410 near northstar mall.

They have some classes going on (I've seen a sign up book and schedules) at various times.
Maybe they can email it to you or tell you over the phone to save you a drive.

They have "group training classes" which are up to 4 people. Not regular spin or aerobics-type classes--Gold's Gym seems to have a pretty full schedule if you're looking for classes.

Did not know they had that online now (the group schedule). The website seems to have gone through some updates. Good sleuthing, sapphire!
