When or where? Actually both questions would apply. All the condos being built downtown or the buildings being converted are very high dollar. I would think the question is when or where can the common man buy a condo downtown? What is available or planned right now is very high price and a house or condo in the burbs is more affordable.

I'm quite impressed with the Milmo Lofts. Love the design of the lofts, and it seems they're basically all sold except for one or two units. What were/are the prices?

Milmo Lofts are rentals (and if I remember correctly they were above $1800/mn). Alteza and Camp Street are starting well over pp's stated price, and last I checked Vidorra was starting about $250K.

You'd be hard pressed to find anything downtown under $200K. Moderator cut: recommendation

Yep, Milmo Lofts look cool! Great concept, great use of space. And since they're rentals, ya just hafta wait for somebody to move out! Steep rent, tho. Cadillac Lofts is quite cool as well, and a little more affordable.
