It is! It seems that the further East you go, on into the deep South, the BBQ sauce gets sweeter. Deep Texas BBQ has a more tangy spicy flavor. I love both....as long as the meat is good. But both are completely different dishes.
I have a copy of a German cookbook from 1906 that the women's group in Frederickburg, TX put together. The recipes look incredible.....but some not so much!
I might have posted a couple of recipes on here a long time ago. We could just start a new restaurant. I've got the cookbook. You all decide on the location.....and who's cooking!

My advice is enjoy the company and try to adapt and appreciate the flavor of a new experience. But...then you didn't ask for my advice....so nevermind!
