Need names of rocking, swinging, upbeat honky-tonk songs often heard in San Antonio
I looove all types of music. Love my Texas country especially. BFF says country music is a bit depressing. I told her that ain't so. Long story short, I am trying to put together some kicking country music, upbeat, fiddle-ripping, make you wanna kick up some dust on dance floor tunes. Figured it would be easier to get suggestions from folks here. Age of songs doesn't matter---am eager to read the responses. Thanks y'all  |

How 'bout some Dwight Yoakum? He's pretty funky for a country boy.
I love Robert Earl Keen if I'm driving out in the sticks somewhere....."Jesse With His Long Hair Hangin' Down" always gets me, for some reason. He's got some funky stuff, too.....
