A Twinkie and a Ding Dong are nothing alike. Any self-respecting fat girl knows this.

A Twinkie is a yellow sponge cake with a creme filling. They are moist nuggets of fat, sugar, and whatever chemicals it takes to make them survive a nuclear attack.

A Ding Dong is a devil's food cake (round), with the same creme filling as the Twinkie (the ONLY similarity)(OK, so when I said "nothing alike" above, I lied a little) but then it is covered in an artificially flavored chocolate coating. Not as moist as a Twinkie, but full of fat, sugar, and the aforementioned chemicals.

Back in the day, each Ding Dong was individually wrapped in thin foil. And they were so much better then.

ok.....close enough...but you forgot to mention that the chocolate coating sort of tasted like brown paraffin wax.
