My oldest unloaded a lot of great book collections one his last trips down here. It has been difficult getting book stores over here. Next time you're down this way Nicha's across from Mission Theater/or remains of it!

When my husband retired, I came to San Antonio to work at Brooks AFB. Everyone told me NOT to buy a house on the SE side, but I did anyway and my husband closed out our house at the base where he retired. I worked for six years at Brooks before IBM moved my contract to Alamo Downs near Ingram Park. I can't wait for more jobs to be created back at Brooks City Base. I LOVE the SE side.

The Southeast side.. north of Military drive has seen better times. But it seems to be well on it's way to seeing improvements of all types. I would like to see some slacking off on development from New Braunfels to Corpus Christi Road. I'm afraid it's going to get overdeveloped causing the congestion other sides of town have experienced. I still enjoy the ability to avoid a lot of traffic on back roads.. I've lived over here all my life by choice. City-Base is great and I'm glad they did some decent landscaping.
