If i ever do plan to do that as a side job, you know just for beer, and MODS I will charge half or 1/4 depending on people's coolness
Never too old to be a student!

So true...I'm 46 and I have yet to be the oldest student in any of the classes I've had at UTSA in the last year and a half.

Hey, I finally got my degree just shy of my 40th birthday. No shame in getting an education.

If you're just looking for some "fix it" kind of things consider checking with Home Depot or Lowe's too. I know they have small weekend type classes that may be able to help too.

Default heater burner turning off before hitting temp

Hi
I really appreciate any advice.

I have an older gas heater in the attic. Last season, and now this season, it intermittently turns itself off during the heating blower cycle, even though it has not reached its correct thermostat temperature.

Example: I turn it on and set it to 71 degrees, when the house and the thermostat say it is 65 in the house. It turns on normally and will run and get the temp to the right temp and then turn off. then the next time it turns on, the burners will stay on for a while, but will stop burning , therefore stop warming up the house, but keep blowing and blowing… never hitting the expected temp. So I turn it all off at the thermostat, wait about an hour and turn it on, and sometimes it will blow hot and sometimes start and then stop.

I have replaced the pilot and the thermostat.. but not fixed yet.
thanks for any help
