Native San Antonian, lived here all my life with the exception of 18 months my dad was stationed in Del Rio waaaay back in the 60's. LOL - hubby had to go there on business. From his description, it doesn't sound like much has changed.

LOL - Hubby was an AF brat, so he moved every three years. Michigan to Illinois (two places there, can't remember them - Champagne Irbana is one), then to Tennessee then Florida and back to Illinois then on to Puerto Rico (where the books were in English and the instruction was in Spanish. Good thing he took Spanish before they were transferred) and back to Illinois and finally to Las Vegas). He still doesn't understand why I have so much stuff and he has maybe a small box of stuff from the past.

I had a friend in NY that wanted to move there. (What, NY's not cold enough for you?) Ended up in upstate NY, where it is cold enough.

We left NY for the same reason you left MO - no likey cold.
