don't forget bikers like to play dress-up and ride as if they were in the tour. that = packs of riders in bunches (not single file).

Cars are required to drive single file in the lane. Bikes should have the same requirement. If there is a bicycle lane they should be required to use that lane. Having said that, I think it is ridiculous that we create bicycle lanes and then allow cars to park in them. Bicycle lanes should be kept free of parked vehicles and kept clean and free of debris. Most bicycle lanes that I see are full of bottles cans rocks and all other forms of debris. That is if there is not a car parked there.

It's a great idea, and I'd love to see more and better bike lanes, but I'll believe it when I see it. The way San Antonio plans and implements things it should be done in 15-20. Maybe I'll still be here. Not to bash on SA. It's just the way I see, and hear/read about, things since moving here. Great ideas, but takes years to accomplish - if even then.
