List of issues for State Representative - House District 122 (NW San Antonio) (live in)

If you were running for Texas House District 122 what issues would you consider or address? I am looking for issues specific to District 122 but knowing issues faced by residents in other districts or Texas state over-all will also help.

Asking because I am one of the volunteers for a candidate who is running. He has a long list of issues but I wanted to come up with my own list off of the internet from internet gurus like you ... need to make sure we understand all the issues of this district being faced by individuals, families, and businesses across District 122

One thing that comes to mind is a gripe from a teacher friend of mine. According to them, the state legislature changed the teacher retirement system's conditions a couple of years ago. This person says that those teachers over the age of 50 and/or had 20+ years of service were grandfathered into the 'old' program which used the 'rule of 80'. Anyone else is now under the program that uses the 'rule of 90'. What this meant for them is that now they have to work an extra 5 or 6 years to be able to have full retirement. This person had planned to retire when their spouse did, now that won't happen. I'm sure there are plenty of other teachers in San Antonio that were 'victimized' as they call it, by the actions of the legislature. They also indicated that your candidate, Mr. Corte, voted in favor of this. Surely our teachers work hard enough and didn't deserve to be hammered like this. No one does. Why did this happen and is there a chance that this could be reversed?
