I'm hoping to find a range bag, especially one that says Glock on the outside since, as of today, I'm a Glock owner
I got it at Dury's with the LE special deal. $419 for a G19 and it even included three magazines (not CLIPS!) instead of two. The LE rep guy is very friendly too. The reviews on Google must come from very impatient people. They are busy and were trying their best, but you had to wait. That's why I rarely trust reviews around here. People don't have any patience at all.

I asked for a Glock for Christmas . I also asked for extend-a-fender flares for my truck. Looks like the flares are going to win. But, I'm cool with that.
May is right around the corner and I have a birthday, Mother's day, and 20 year wedding anniversary .

An early 'congrats' to both you and the hubby!

Now that's a good woman

my wife wants a purse, pj's, slippers, and stuff like that. I'd much rather get her an AR-15

any stellar deals at today's show? I'm about to head that way in the near future. I need a range bag that can hold four guns and some "good stuff" 9mm ammo for the new Glock.

Actually, I got a good deal on a Finnish M39 from the son of one of our most prominent members on here! He was a really nice guy, and my son and I talked with him for quite a bit.

Otherwise, things are getting better in terms of ammo availability and price; but nowhere near as good as they were two years ago...

I think I might start saving up for a big .44 Magnum revolver in stainless, nothing short of a 6" barrel...

Cheers! M2

I got some bad news from my daughter as I walked into the show, so I wasn't really in a good mood after that. I did end up getting some reloads in .38 Special and 9mm, though. I also got my son one of those retractable batons because I do not like where he works, especially at night. Can't wait til he switches to armed security. It will also be nice to not have to drive downtown for these shows anymore. I really do not like it down there at all. The roads make Michigan roads look smooth and it's just a nasty nasty ghetto.

I too will be happy to see it move to this side of town, if only for the shorter drive and no longer having to pay $3 to park. Actually, since we took the Jeep which has DV tags on it, they just waved me in. I should have been driving it to previous shows...

Plus, the IHOP is a lot closer!

I just hope they have the SA Event Center set up to handle the number of vendors. I have been in it for the Texas Gun Shows events and it is basically an empty warehouse...

I remember when the SAXET shows were held out by the airport, it was the same type of venue and that place was leveled to build a hotel. I guess it will be like old times again...

The son of that C-D member said he was happy with his transaction as well. He also joined the NRA today. He told that CD member that you spoke his language. No surprises there! I've been trying to tell you!

so this son of a member is a vendor there? or the two just happened to meet? I need to shoot some of these antiques to maybe see what I am missing. I can understand the history and all and some of the prices are dirty cheap, but wonder what they shoot like. My AK is based on an antique since the original is now 62 years old and I can definitely understand the attraction of a 1911 pistol.

BTW, did the son also say he wasn't as crazy as you described him?
