Default Gun Safe

Thanks to the gun show this weekend, my pistol collection grew a little (while our bank account shrunk some! )

As such, I am in need of a larger gun safe; mostly for my pistols, but if it can hold some of my rifles and shotguns as well that would be gravy.

But, as I said, my purchases have lightened my wallet a little; so I am looking for a good deal as well as a good safe. So if anyone knows of any places locally (most are too heavy to ship cheaply) that have gun safes (or safes in general) at decent prices, I would be grateful.

Cheers! M2

Academy has em, if not the safe, at least get the trigger lock. Also the new Sears outlet might have them also. Try E-bay and CraigsList.

See 2 below on Craigslist

Actually, I have emails to both of those sellers on Craigslist. The second one looks promising, but I can't tell by the pic if it has pistol holders on the door. If not, it won't help.

The top one is nice, but a bit expensive and won't hold any of my rifles and shotguns.

Cheers! M2

Blue Dog

Thanks, that one was sold already.

And the guy with the $300 safe isn't going down too much in price. He said he didn't need to sell it that badly. I haven't heard from the other guy, but unless it has a place to store pistols, I won't be interested.

I was hoping someone would have one collecting dust in their garage, willing to let it go for cheap. I guess that is in line with the dream of finding an old Porsche in a barn somewhere that the farmer sells to you for $500!

Cheers! M2

Major, Sam's Club had a big gun safe last time i was there. Don't recall price or anything about it. Good sized one though!

Costco has one in their warehouse as well. You might be able to check it out on their website first. If they sell an item online and in the warehouse, the online price is a bit higher.
