Yeah I knew about them. I'm gonna have to make it out to one of those. I wasn't sure they'd have the Talo/EXO coated ones at the shows.

Kinda disappointed that the guy at Powderhorn didn't know what EXO coating was. I'm looking for a G23 preferably with EXO/NIBX coating but that's not a deal breaker.

TV says a ND at Bullet Hole - employee cleaning a gun, fires a round through a wall and into someone's eye.

Didn't find in on the net yet.

That place is unlucky - had that suicide just a bit ago.

Wrong Bullet Hole, this was a shop in Jourdanton...

Quote:

Oh - TV wasn't clear. Wonder if they knew the difference.

Sorry for the confusion.

It probaby just went off - when the employee PULLED the trigger.

I went to the SAXET gun show on Saturday , and it was awesome. I am officially hooked, in fact I went Sunday afternoon too. The parking wasn't that bad when I went. I did go in the afternoon on both days, and Saturday was a lot busier than Sunday. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I must have spent 20 min at each table talking about guns with the venders. I can't wait until next month!

Yeah, we went Saturday morning with a group and I was amazed at how quickly crowded this show got! Picked up a few items but nothing major, but I still prefer the Premier Gun Shows events at the Freeman Expo Center. Their shows are larger and have wider aisles, something that is a constant source of irritation at the SAXET shows at the SA Event Center...

Cheers! M2

Just to note, many modern semi-automatics require you to pull the trigger during disassembly. My Springfield XD is like that, as are my Taurus pistols and most Glocks if I am not mistaken. But he still should have ensured the firearm was unloaded beforehand!

Also, the gentleman hit by the bullet was treated and released that same day. He had no permanent injuries from the accident.

Cheers! M2
