I got a ticket in the mail in my name when I wasn't driving my car, and it was hell to get it changed out of my name. Unfortunately, the camera didn't climb off it's pole to check the driver's license of the person driving my car to make sure the ticket was given to the correct person. How rude.

Got another ticket when I hadn't run a red light. Stinking camera must have been distracted. It didn't even apologize! It wouldn't show up to court either so I could defend myself.

It's a good thing for many people that nothing really happens if you don't pay your fine.

Just...yeah. This is why, people. All of you "just stop at the red light" people have no clue what you're talking about. Too many people in this world have blinders on. And that's what "THEY" want you to be like.

Nobody that I know would intentionally run a red light. Sometimes drivers can be stressed with work, passengers in their car, momentary lapse/daydream, etc. Accidents will happen and a person might accidentally lunge beyond the white line. That is what I object to. People are only human.

I have no problem with cameras going around and keeping a record of evidence in case of an accident. I DO have a problem with cameras going around and having short yellow lights and CAUSING accidents.

I have a problem with a camera being the judge and jury. Period. If I was a younger man, I'm afraid I'd be tempted to see just how well-protected those camera systems are. The whole concept disgusts me.
