I've been to San Antonio before and loved it. I'm a single mother of a elementary school aged child working in the day spa industry. My only concern is that I was planning to relocate to a suburb on the beach. So how far away is the beach?

There's actual foam in the waves in VA. Are day spas doing that well right now?

In the right (rich/tourist) areas they are. And if VA Beach is better than Corpus I'll pass!

Well, that's my opinion. I love East coast beaches, and West coast beaches. This third coast here, well, sorry, but no, just no.

I was in Va Beach in early September, I did not like it after dark, compared to when I lived there 20 years ago, what a eye opener...

It was beautiful during the afternoon....

IMO VA Beach the main beach atleast is a murky, seaweed and jellyfish infessed excuse for a beach. At the same time I think its beautiful at night as long as youre not trying to get in the water (because you'll be stang to death). However there's a nicer private beach called Chicks Beach that's beautiful.
