I am looking for a location where we can book a restaurant-party room near the Community Bible Church on 1604. We are trying to keep the cost low but need to feed about 35 people on a Sunday evening.
Any suggestions?

What is cheap and good? Price point you'd like to stay within? Type of food?

I dont know, this was sprung on us and the budget is tight. Saying that, any food type is fine and as far as the budget, I do not want to go over $500.00 but that does not seem reasonable so I will just say as inexpensive as possible.

La Hacienda on Redland Road has a preset menu---cheapest is $15 a person but includes drink, tax, and tip.

Call Red Robin or EZ's and see if they can hook you up with burgers, fries and drinks in a party room. I'd say they're pretty cheap and good.

Bummer that you had this sprung on you when money's tight.

Do you have a large enough home to accomodate 35 people? Lasagna, salad, and bread is a nice meal that can be done up for much less than $500. I'd be glad to help!

Does it have to be a restaurant?
Having that many people, I bet it would be a lot cheaper to hire a cook... but I guess you still need a place for them to sit down to eat

Where on 1604? Being a Sunday evening should help you out budget wise quite a bit.

I just saw the date and its a Friday, I am thinking around 9 pm. I need to make some phone calls tomorrow. I thought the river barge would be nice but being its on 1604 I want to stay near the area, so riverwalk wont work.
