It is a real possibility that my family and I will be moving to SA. My husband put in for orders to Randolph AFB so we are trying to get a feel for the area. Where is a good place to live? What middle schools are the best? Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know about schools in particular but some good areas are Alamo Heights and Stone Oak. Some of the zipcodes are 78258 and 78248. On realtor.com you can actually look for houses with zipcode and do a search wich tells you the average ethnic makeup and average incomes. This will give you a better idea of what type of neighborhood you'll be living in. For example for zipcode 78248, the average income is about $100,000.
