I'm also on the same boat as nismospec. I did Lost Maples in November, Zilker Botanical Gardens on Halloween. Still haven't tried SABOT and Japanese Tea Gardens or the usual (Tower of Americas, Riverwalk). I'll look into Grey Moss Inn hopefully when we get married next year.

we'll lets see...my husband used to just toss a gift (aka whatever latest gadget/movie/CD he wanted for himself from Best Buy) in my lap -- beautifully wrapped in the plastic bag from the store of course -- and mumble Happy Anniversary before heading into the other room to watch the game. Yep...he's a keeper. Calm down ladies. Don't all try to grab him up at once.

My romantic hubby took me to the Vineyard restaurant...it was beautiful and everyone who was there was celebrating something. Nice night, great wine, and delicious food. Our server was awesome which made it all the better!

Also again, it depends on what you consider romantic but this weekend and next weekend is the Dickens Christmas in Braken Village. They have horse drawn carriage rides with lights on the carriages through Braken Village. Musicians are out throughout the village and Father Christmas is walking around. It is such a wonderful place! Be prepared if you do go though, parking is a little nutty but worth it!

See, now that's 2 of us who have cast our votes for Grey Moss Inn.

Give it a shot. Watch the speed limit!

Also, if y'all are into art, I recommend a trip to the Blue Star Arts Complex. It's a real cool place, very eclectic. Here is the link: Blue Star Arts Complex - San Antonio, Texas
