Default Are we supposed to feel sorry for them, or...?

Local | WOAI.COM: San Antonio News

I think they wouldn't have a problem with heat if they opted not to get braces as an adult, a huge grandfather clock and big flat screen TV. But hey, what do I know...

Why not call woai...It was woai that brought you the story...I saw the report, didnt seem to me the family was asking for anything...and I dont remember woai asking for anything. Do yyou know it wasnt the Heating and Air Conditioning company that didnt contact woai to promote their good sumarian service?

Look, I don't know about you, but I consider it a basic human right to have HDTV and braces!

Like I tell my husband "in the voice of George Costanza's mother" - Put on some socks and a sweatshirt, we are not turning on the heat!

Geez, it's not THAT cold.

Anyway, not sure the point of the story - propane safetey? parents that watch tv all day?

I can understand the braces too especially if its a severe problem and its interfering with having a better job and/or self esteem. I wore braces as an adult myself.

LOL! Welcome to San Antonio!

Home of the scared and land of the entitled.

The story didn't make sense, but at least now the thieves on their street know where to get a nice HDTV for Christmas.

I'm in Seattle half the time including right now so if it's not on KIRO, KOMO or in the Times it gets to me because someone linked it somewhere else.

With all the cash spent on other stuff it's hard to believe they couldn't get the heater working. People show their true priorities in what they spend their cash (or credit) on.
