So I read through this thread when it originated and was on the fence about Groupon. I didn't sign up but checked back every once in a while to check to see what type of stuff they were offering.

I've been trying to get myself into shape without going to the gym and saw that Yoga in Motion had a groupon way back in May. In hopes that maybe that would come up again some time in the future I signed up. So far no dice, but I did get a fab bootcamp thing that usually costs $247 for $20. A few days in the past Studio A Pilates had a coupon for quite a bit off. I passed since my budget was so slim at the time but they do seem to be good every once in a while.

Today's groupon is $16 worth of movie tickets at the Rialto Cinema off of 410 near 35. Basically buy one get one free. If you drive in the area its worth it. They sucked me in there.

Every once in a while they pile on a ton of Stone Oak locations which gets a bit old, but whatever. That's the day i don't buy it. There is also another site called http://livingsocial.com/deals/4343-u...burgers-for-10 that is much like groupon. I haven't bought anything from them, but it seems good.

Default Groupon

Has anyone tried groupon to receive discounts?
Do you like it?
Are there any other sites that offer this kind of service that you like?
I am thinking of joining to get discounts on things.
Thank you.

Moderator cut: orphaned

I bought a month worth of bootcamp and loved it. I need to use a yoga coupon I bought about a month ago, bought some movie tickets and almost sprung for an $8 tube at Tube Haus but stopped myself.

There is also livingsocial.com, Deal of the Day at ksat.com and I think Kens5 is doing something similiar as well.
