I have the flu or something and in dire need of some good homemade chicken soup. Can anyone recommend any restaurants that serve good chicken soup? North central area would be great. Also, does anyone have a good recipe? Thanks.

Go up to HEB and get a pineapple. Eat as much as you can stand to. Then have some caldo. Even better, have some Chicken tortilla soup. I'm sure there are people who will recommend good tortilla soup places.

Chachos has a great tortilla soup and you can get it in the drive thru

Here is what I do when I get sick. I take an 1000mg vitamin C pill a day. I gargle with listerine. I drink about 3 cups of Celestial Seasonings Wellness Tea with honey and lemon. I get it from HEB but you have to look hard for it sometimes. My sil swears by POM drinks when she's sick. Get well soon!

Additionally, Vitamin C is an excellent cold and flu fighter due to its ability to support the immune system.

Saltgrass Steak House has the best chicken tortilla soup I've had, but you probably don't want to go there sick.
