Yea ryneone, those pictures were taken about 11:00 am on a Sunday morning. As I was leaving the parking lot was filling up. I'm sure they had a good crowd by the afternoon. I was also trying to avoid people that might not like their pictures taken. If you look through the slide show you will see a lot more people in the pics.

The former theater where the skate park was to be built is now an inflatable playland.

Rolling Oaks has never been as popular or successful as it's predecessor Windsor Park

Has Rolling Oaks Mall really ever caught on? Build it and they will come didn't work out too well. IMO enclosed malls in this area are on the endangered species list.

Well when Rolling Oaks was built,1989, Windsor Park was the dominate mall on the NE side. Also the Mall only opened with Sears and Dillards, Foley's didn't open until 1992/3 and JC Penney opened in 2004. So it's always been a weak mall in terms of anchors, and no premium stores, you will never find your lacoste or apple, or J Crew there.
