I'm so looking forward to getting out of this 18 degree weather (BTW, it's actually a hot day for us today since we've been in the -'s) even if just for a week!
The nicest theater is the Palladium i cant believe people are telling you about fiesta 16...very little and not that big of a movie selection although it may be a bit crowded with the parking I have never had a problem

I don't believe there is a thearer near either of those though...wait. I take that back. There is one on 410/10 but that's still a ways.

You're so so so so close to some of the best shopping in the city though, even if it is outdoor just up the way at the La Cantera exit. There is a theater there. But, I do understand that people do like shopping inside on any given day. I'll take La Cantera any day of the week though (even over Fiesta Trails) I'll be headed out that way later today.
The closest movie theatres to North Star Mall are the new Alamo Drafthouse in Park North Plaza (across San Pedro), the Regal Quarry (281 between Jones-Maltsberger and Basse) and the Santikos Embassy (southwest corner of 281 and Bitters). The closest movie theatres to Ingram Park Mall are the Regal Cielo Vista (southeast corner of 410 and Ingram) and the Alamo Drafthouse near Westlakes (northwest corner of 410 and Marbach).

Ah, but that's what we're contesting... Just because the Palladium is new and massive doesn't make it nice. Just large, impersonal and entirely too busy.

I just want one new moviehouse in SA to be ALL DIGITAL: Sound and projection. With movie prices now being well into the $10-12 range, it's the very least they can do to make the experience that much better. If they're not going to go back to an usher system to police the crowds of talkers and txters, then at least have a projection & sound system that will overpower them.

yeah your right but it sounds like they are going to go to the movies on a weekday....they shouldnt have a problem with a "crowd" at all since most of the kiddos are at school during the day....and it is a school night

I wasnt just talking about it being new and massive but i like the food....coffee...gelato....and *bar* its impressive for an out of towner
