That's very sad, we asked how he was doing (we knew he was having health issues) when we were there last weekend. The person we talked with said he was doing better, but that Hospice was involved which is never good.

Bobby was a very nice man, and may he rest in peace.

Wow, I did not know that. We went to Bobby J's today for our first time. You would have not even known. The nice lady with the tats on her arms took our order and made recommendations. It's true, the fries were the best I have ever had. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Very tasty. The burger was delicious, they use butter on the buns like Culver's does. Very nice people there, too. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Sad about Bobby J. Only said "Howdy" to him a few times, but he put together a good burger. Like others, I hope the place stays open.

I'm sad to hear of Bobby J's passing. Our family tried to go there for dinner on Friday and the place was all closed up...this explains it. May he rest in peace.

That's too bad, a real gentleman at his place. Ran into him at the Bandera Sea Island also.

My sympathies.

BTW - tried Smash Burger - it was crowded but a decent burger.
