Resolution in 2010: Have more date nights. Sometimes getting a sitter is challenging.

Anyone know of any establishments in SA offering "Date Night" child care every now and then with a safe, fun environment for the kids? Not looking for drop-in daycare places.

I did find this NC option: Love to Swim
Not sure if you have to be a member or how much it costs.

Any other ideas?

Much thanks!

I know that the Children's Academy of Stone Oak has date nights, they're a preschool located on Huebner and Stone Oak pkwy and the kids have a great time with movies and popcorn!

Several area churches offer this, not sure where you are located... Concordia Lutheran, Shearer Hills, and I think even Parkhills Baptist...

There's a place next to Santikos called "Sitter and a Movie" - great folks there, our kid loves it!

Unfortunately...they are closed...

I do know that Kid Space is still open. I have never used them, but I do know of several who did, and were happy.

Check out places like The Little Gym and Artworks. They both have several locations around the city and offer Parent's Night Out. If you peruse the Our Kids Magazine you can find all the activity oriented places and check online to see who offers a Parent's Night Out. Most do. Some cost more than others.

I second Sitter and a Movie. They are great and the kids have always had fun there. They are on the NW side near the Silverado Theater (Helotes).

We used to go to ChaCho's. It's not a drop off place, but we could eat and drink margarita's, and the kids could play on the equipment for hours.
