Default Polar Express at Sea World

Anyone see Polar Express in 4D at Sea World?

My son is 2 and is obsessed with trains. He has seen the Polar Express movie on tv, but I was wondering if the Polar Express show at Sea World would be too much for him.

It is actually the same movie. The 4D might be a bit much for him, though.

agree with amy...and having to wear the 3-d glasses kind of freaked my daughter out until she was about 4 or so. 2 might be a bit young for that theater

It's a condensed version of the same movie. It's only 20 minutes long. It's actually a perfect length for a 2 year old to sit through. The only issue would be wearing the glasses. You can't watch the movie without the 3D glasses because it is blurry. We have seen it 2 years in a row and I like it much better than the full length movie. The full length movie just made nonsense of a sweet book. While this still has some of the train riding on the ice, it is actually much truer to the book. And, if he loves it, you can see it again and again all day long if you want to.

I love Sea World this time of year - no crowds and different shows.

I'll be taking my 3 year old there this weekend. Is the sound inside the theater loud? The loud sound/noise from the movies gets him anxious more than the visual.

It does get a bit loud in there, and they have shakers in the seats for certain parts of the movie. And air blasts and water sprays (not much of those). (4D!)

There are snow machines and fog machines in the theater also!

If the crowds get busy, they have a shorter version, about 18 minutes I believe. They'll run that if people get antsy waiting for the next show.
