I was at Hugo's salon, which is right next door to Cool Cafe; they had menus in a little holder on the 'sidewalk'... they sound WONDERFUL!!!
(They have both indoor and outdoor tables, also)...

Has anyone eaten there? They have a lot of both main dish and dessert crepes, some sides that are 'off the beaten track' and some great sounding pasta dishes.....

I am gonna get myself there sometime soon....

I live right around the corner from the place and I had a chance to eat there last Fall. The food was not bad with a sort of middle eastern flair. The time I went there I had a dish of pasta noodles spiced very heavily with alot of curry. I forgot what the dish was called exactly but it wasn't bad. The service was excellent incidentally.

Never been, but I've always wanted to try it.
Is it an international/ Middle Eastern buffet type format?

It's an order-off-the-menu place, not a buffet.

My family enjoyed it during our one visit. The food was tasty and the service was good. We'd go more frequently if we lived closer to it.

There were several outside tables enjoying the hookah when we were there. We dined inside and watched them from behind the glass.

I've tried the new one on the Riverwalk. They've got a great location on the side of Hotel havana behind the municipal auditorium. The food is pretty good with very reasonable prices for the atmostphere.
