Wow no wonder this world is going to ****! We have people crying about cars parked in the street! Get a life! And if I had a party with my 50 friends I would tell em to all park in front of your house. Do San Antonio a favor and move to yuppie town. People like you is what's wrong with this country. It's a free country no laws were being broken get over it. From your "nice" comments I'm sure there's another reason why you really don't like your new neighbors...

Oh yes, very much in Bexar county. NW side. Code compliance has several compliants on him right now. Nothing will be done though. This didnt just start yesterday.

Ive considered harrassment, but what else could it be? His parking is legal, his junk is on his own property. Lowering my home (and others) value?

Parties have to have cars. My complaint is with neighbors parking in front of your house just to **** you off....

BTW SATX has plenty of Yuppies. And just because no laws are broken doesn't mean its good to do. Ignorant, trashy attitudes is what's wrong with this county.

Well, it's definitely what's wrong with this city. However, I believe the term is "it's a cultural thing."

sleeptech210- Bottom line here.......Would you appreciate having to look at the junk???? *I'm not speaking of the vehicles. As long as they are operable, registration and inspections are current nothing can be done. However if they are being stored on the street this is a violation of both the Texas Transpotation Code and the Texas Administrative Code.* I doubt that you would sit back and accept looking at the junk all over the yard. Right?? If it's a Code Violation (which it obviouslly is) then a neighbor has every right to contact the proper Authorities.
It's funny I didn't hear any crying in the post. [/quote]

Our neighbors to the right have a trashy front yard. It's really the eyesore of the street. We have a giant hedge between our house and his so we can't see his junky and ugly front yard.

He's a nice guy, to be honest, but he just leaves his yard ugly - no grass, busted up tile fountain, old junky cars up on blocks, etc., etc. Ugly.

BIG hedge.

This is exactly why we are converting our front yard to a smaller version of Friedrich park! We may have to wait a little while longer to move, but that doesn't mean we have to look at the trash on our street.

I think code compliance will do something about vehicles on blocks. It's an eyesore and it ruins property values.
