breathe is on a distinguished road
it is a nice depiction, but it doesn't show the whole picture... what is the plan for the infrastructure to navigate in and around there? It isn't a complaint, just a technical detail question Is Evans going to be widened to handle the consumer traffic? lights? overpass? any primary infrastructure improvements?

thanks

Having the clout of the business community supporting it should help get the widening process underway for that portion of 281.

I think the Sports Authority is already under construction with their sign up and everything...though I could be confused about its location...Its hard to keep track with all of these centers popping up. I guess one day I need to go into one.

This is good news!!!! As far as increased traffic concerns which I also share with you, I was just visiting the 281 expansion page today, here are the details: The San Antonio Area Freeway System - US 281 North Upgrade Project (broken link)

I love the new shopping centers popping up as there is such beauty they possess with the stone fronts and tiled roofs that you don't normally see with most shopping complexes. As long as they do a good job of conforming the shopping complex with the natural layout of the area, then I am very excited for it.

Does the collecting of tolls typically involve transponders that are automatically charged to your account...or are there toll booth collectors?

I am guessing that it would be both - toll booth collectors and transponders, at least that is how they do it in most toll highways I have seen.

Wow thanks for the info! Papa Murphy's I'm looking forward to. Dunkin Donuts will be sure to be packed! Long overdue for that one. I see Ruby Tuesday ads on TV but didn't know where one was. Still, crossing 281 is the bugger for me but I'm sure I"ll go ahead and do it!

I am really looking forward to this center opening! No longer will we have to drive beyond Evans to do the majority of our shopping. I am sure the back way to Evans will start to get bad, but at least I can save a few miles by not having to drive to the HEB Plus on Blanco to pick some of the things I can only get there. Thank goodness we are getting another restaurant, though we still need more. Chili's and the soon to be open BJ's are just not enough. Especially since I do not care for Chili's, but that is just me.
