HEB is helping the Texas economy by adding jobs and lowering food prices.

I wonder why Central Market is hg in DFW and not SA and why we only have 1 and they have 5 along with Austin's two locations. I would think they could put a HEB Plus store in Leon Springs before they would put one in the Austin area.

Another observation, I know HEB is a privately owned conservative company but there are no minorites on the executive staff

I couldn't find any info about the board on their website, but they are a very good company.

I also discovered you can browse the ad on their website and add things to a shopping list that you can print out later. Most things even have their prices included. That's a great feature

I didn't know that being a minority was a BFOQ in order to be on a board of directors or senior management at a locally owned business!

Maybe HEB is quite progressive, and judges people on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin?

Ok, let's get back to talking about HEB.

I've been wondering for a while, how can HEB compete with Walmart (Chinese products)?
Does HEB get a lot of their products from Mexico?

I have noticed a lot of their stuff comes from Mexico. I like the new country of origin labels.
