Not to worry folks....all is well!

They've put up that 18" fabric netting stapled to a 1x2 stake....something akin to the construction of the wall itself...

This issue would make for an eye-opening documentary for budding filmmakers in San Antonio area. An educational piece on business of home constructions, city operations etc...

I heard this too. The story I heard said that if they refused then the police asked for names of their next of kin.

Why hasn't there been any official word from the subdivision's HOA? Wouldn't you think they would be in the middle of all this?

Centex has a new home on Treewell Glen that was previously under contract. It was placed back on the market as of yesterday(01/27/2010) after pending sale fell through.

It's on the hill with great views!!! Asking price is only $291k+

Hi SA....an Austin dude here just monitoring this thread for a few days because:

- My daughter lives (on a hill) across the freeway (1604) from these "mobile" homes....&
- Lots & lots of homes here in Austin are built similarly & am curious how this turns out.

Not that anyone would care...but the news anchor "on the left" is Olga Campos. She's been with this (ABC?) affiliate 30+ years. She's a fixture here & i'm guessing she can wear pretty much what she wants. She started in the late 70s at that same affiliate (i think) as one of those roving eye candy news girls (i was at UT then & EVERY guy knew who Olga was).

Good for her that she found a 30+ year gig. Anyways...good luck to the homeowners & i hope they find a pit bull for a lawyer.

RGJ - I initially wondered this as well, but saw where this subdivision isn't complete yet (homes still for sale and/or being built), and usually, the builder/developer retains the HOA duties until the subdivision is 100% complete/occupied and can be turned over to the homeowners - if that's the case - then Pulte is still controlling the HOA....

Ok somebody's taking crazy pills because that's almost existing custom build prices. Maybe it's because of the hill view.

Where's the lot the house is on? Anywhere near the problems?

12002 Treewell Gln, San Antonio, TX, 78249 - MLS #803157 - Single Family Home real estate - REALTOR.com®

Looks like it's on the corner of Treewell Glen and Valley Well across from the hillside.
