Default Moving in 2006 : Info needed on San Antonio ISD Schools ???

Can anyone gvie me some information on living and teaching in inner city San Antonio, Texas ? I would like to know about the high schools in San Antonio ISD. I have been told that San Antonio ISD is a great place to teach due to a strictly enforced dress code, is this true ?

I was also told that inner city San Antonio is a much better place to live than inner city Houston or Dallas. I have been told that inner city San Antonio has much less crime and gangs than Houston or Dallas , is this true ?

Default San Antonio ISD

Hello WillieB,

Here is the SAISD web site so you can check it out.

http://www.saisd.net/

As for gangs. They're here, but not like Houston or Dallas. And definitely not like Los Angeles where you can be killed for turning onto the wrong street.

The best advice is to stay out of SAISD and go for NISD or NEISD.
