I do not understand the concept of let's come to a slow crawl around all turns or corners, and not even on a rainy day, it is constantly happening on Highway 151.

I think...you need to drive on 1604 for a while ..you won't think 151 is so bad..no matter what speed someone is driving.

I also...would like to remind most people can't stop real quick going in excess of the posted 65 mph.

I drive by ..rpm's I don't exceed 2000 rpm because then I'm wasting gas..and I personally don't enjoy chucking money out the window... so...I purposely drove 2 ways...one..the mario andretti way..and the other granning it. I chose the granning it way cuz mile for mile...I'm able to buy other things because I'm saving that much money in gas. So I'm probably one of the ones that is driving 60 mph on 151 however I'm in the right lane..so...if we're all going to slow for you all..that's what they make the left lane for. Life's too short... You could be in Haiti and wondering where your next drink of clean water is coming from

Heard a snippet on WOAI that they are going to have a story on the 1000 news tonight about the 1604/Braun area traffic and some plans that are in the works to alleviate some of the mess. But we all know that whatever the plans are, it's going to be at least 5 years down the road.

We live off of Braun/1604 and it's not that bad if you time it right.

Also, there are alternative routes to avoid the jams when they do occur. It is a matter of knowing the area and when traffic is bad.

But it would be nice if they overpass was built there, and the Shaenfield intersection was fixed as well. That would open northwest 1604 up without any traffic lights until you hit 151...

local developers / politicians do not believe in overpasses.

I was just trying to be punny.

But still.......Braun and 1604 is a disaster. I could not face that every day. But 20 years ago, the traffic leading to my neighborhood was worse than that. Of course, I didn't live there then.

So, I don't imagine that area will be bad forever.
