are we suppose to keep the same days for pickup on this new trash pickup now the info. left with the trashcans told us what to put in each different colored trash bin but what day for each one no info. my zip code is 78224.san antonio texas

They should have included a piece of paper & a refrigerator magnet in the packet that was delivered along with your automated cans that tell you which day is recycling, and which is garbage.

As far as I know, everybody keeps the same two days they had with the manual pickup, but one will be garbage only, and the other is recycling only. When they implemented automated service in my area, though, they switched recycling from Thursday to Monday.

I heard that some neighborhoods in the city had their trash and recycling bin days switched last week. That's probably what the original post is referring to.
