Has anyone used either of these services recently? My lawn is all weeds now and I would really like them to come and kill them. I have used the granules and the hose attachments before but it doesn't seem to kill all the varieties of weeds.

They're okay if someone's home when they do the service but I've been home at times and have seen many of these companies short cut the service for my neighbors and both the homeowner and the yard suffers.

I signed up with TruGreen about 3 years ago and dropped them when they had a problem keeping to a schedule and generally was not impress with their product. After about 13 months TruGreen called again and said they have improved their product and also update all new scheduling software. So I gave them another chance, the schedule was for every 6 weeks. After the first application they called me and said they have scheduled me for a visit - just 3 weeks later (already starting an off cycle schedule – not sure if it was to double their money or what?). When I called they said sorry have corrected that and be out there at the scheduled 6 week timeframe. Week 6, 7 and 8 went by without a call, so much for their improved scheduling software. Also as far as the improved product, sorry to say that I was still not impressed, my neighbor does the bear minimum to his yard and the both look the same. STAY AWAY from TRUGREEN NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY! And please forget the “apologize for the problems that you have experienced” I want NO follow up calls, emails or snail mail!! I am done with your company.
