Hello all,
I appreciate your input on this - thank you in advance.
I recently moved to Converse, NE side of town, near Randolph AFB.
I am looking for a church that is:
non-denomination, not just one ethnic group, and has a good mix of single females (age 30 and up). Not trying to be superficial - just looking for a church that will serve my spiritual needs as well as provide for a Christian social setting.

I have never been to Living Way church, but I have friends that go there and they love it. It's at I-35 and 1604.

If you don't mind the drive, you are welcome to come to Gateway Fellowship Church. We meet at Silverado Movie Theater on Bandera and 1604. We have two services, 9:00 and 10:30. The church just celebrated two years, and we are close to purchasing land in order to get a permanent building. Check out the website:

God Bless!

Community Bible is right up your alley and pretty accessible to you. It's on 1604 and Gold Canyon. They have three pastors to choose from, depending on your preferences & offer tons of small group ministry to meet folks with the same interests and in the same place in life that you are.

I am also looking for a good church, but haven't found the right fit. I tried BRCC because it is near me, and I did not like it. The pastor seemed very nice, and he was a great speaker, but he spent nearly 30 minutes talking about the need to donate $$ to a missionary effort in Africa. I don't see anything wrong with asking the congregation to participate financially, but making it the entire focus was a little much for me... I know some people who go to Eagle's Nest and REALLY like it, but it's off off I-35 and a little out of my way.

I used to go to Eagle's Nest when it was off 281 by Bitters. I loved it!! The scandel with Pastor Rick hurt, but I'm glad he addressed the issues. I found a new home church, Gateway Fellowship. But every now and then I will listern to the online sermons by Pastor Rick. The new location is actually off 281 and Marshall Rd, outside 1604.
