Default Rush hour traffic in SA these days?

Not a native of SA, so wondering what the rush hour traffic times are like in SA these days...

In Silicon valley, morning traffic can go from 6/7 am and sometimes well into 10 am. And evening traffic is from 3 to 7 or 8 pm.

Is traffic slowdowns that lengthy in SA as well, or shorter like 5/6-9 am and 3-6/7 pm?

on school days: Morning starts around 7:45 and end around 8:30 am, and in the Evenings it starts around 4:30 and goes into 7-7:30 (ends sooner in some areas)

Non School days: Almost Nothing to report, but during summer/spring break Mild Rushes from 8am till 8:30ish but on the evenings it can crowd as early as 2 pm, but the rush is still around 4pm till 7ish.

One caveat...please bear in mind that what WE consider "rush hour", you'd consider "light traffic" in most instances!

Thanks for the info.

elnina, I was referring to silicon valley area (in CA) in general, all the major highways, and some local roads, starting around San Jose, but considering other surrounding cities as well.
