And can we just collectively agree to douse the next weatherman in carne guisada who spends half the newscast announcing the "big cool front" that will be coming our way soon. And then, at the last second of airtime, admit "cool" actually translates to a forecast of "just" 99 degrees. Unless there will be ice, sleet or snowman picketing outside my door, I DO NOT want to hear the words "cool front." It's just a tease and, frankly, constitues as cruel and unusual punishment.

Funny enough, the first 16 days of june last year were on average, warmer than this year.

Last year the first 16 of June averaged 97.6 degrees.

This year the first 16 of June averaged 96.3 degrees.

Also, May 2008 averaged one degree more than May 2009.

Good luck getting rain,
I laid my grass on Memorial day weekend (May 24th) because the thunderstoms were eroting my backyard.

It hasn't rained since the weekend before I laid my grass (May 16th).
So you guys are gonna have to do the rain dance naked or I have to return my grass to getsome rain.

It sprinkled over here by BAMC for about 20 min, with about 5 min of pretty decent rain in between. This was around 1000-1015.
