But honestly, I need at least a little hail so that my neighbors think I'm a genius, instead of "crazy"!!! (which would be nailing it!!!! LOL!)

OK I've checked the latest RUC analysis. I'll tell you what I found in English before Jules kills me (you wouldn't want a dead weather nerd--so I'll do my best to prevent that)

In short, the atmosphere is stabilizing with the loss of daytime heating. Therefore the storms do not have as much energy to work with... so I believe the severe threat is starting to diminish. The rain threat still exists and we will most likely see storms here tonight... just probably not of the "severe" variety that it looked just a couple hours ago.

It helps to keep your eyes of the radar just a bit.

However, it's still on for tomorrow/Sunday.

Jules... maybe if the storms moved faster we would have been right about the hail.

Ok ... y'all scared the storms away! The storms that were heading here are on the verge of completely collapsing!!

Now we may have missed rain altogether

But that is the beauty of meteorology. When you work with infinite variables, you're in for a rough ride trying to figure out what's going on.

Eh, I'm used to it. Blame it all on me. I can handle it.

This is my philosophy for tonight, "There's nothin' to see here. Move along."

Goin to sleep. G'nite.

Just arrived home....we flew through a lot of crap in order to land. Great light (lightning) show on the right side of the plane. I'm used to that stuff...but some folks got shook up...even in first class. You'd figure that they're mostly seasoned travelers.

If we're lucky the storms in Medina/Bandera county could make it here.
