Spoke to a client in Chicago a lil while ago...could possibly snow there this weekend. I have to spend 2 days in St. Louis next week...praying for no snow.

Lovely rain in the 78250 area. Wish I was off today cuz I sure don't feel like being an idiot driver of the day. Texting in the rain can get tricky, since I can't see the screen as well.

I keed. I don't text and drive. You can subpoena my records.

I am off today . But my daughter asked me to drive her to school. I told her no and she says "awww, you don't wuv me?" Dang, I'm a sucker when it comes to my kids. So off I go on the 25 mile (50 miles round trip) trip to school, it was NASTY out there. I hit a HUGE water puddle going about 50 mph, it was dark so I didn't see it until it was about 10' in front of my truck. I told my dd "HOLD ON", I let off the throttle and grabbed the steering wheel with both hands, water went all the way over the truck. My daughter says "That was COOL mom"

I'm a big fan of the rain - it's pointing out every spot where I have a leak between the brick and the foundation! Gotta take care of sealing all that up before installing hardwood...

(the flooring is out this week because I'm replacing it and I think this kind of leak is much more common than it seems).

I enjoyed the rain this morning it was short lived still very nice. Weather feels great outside. Took my little pupples outside and tried my hardest to get them to go...they dont like having muddy paws.

mine, unfortunately, don't mind muddy paws at all. I think they actually like them because they'll try to get their paws as muddy as possible by specifically avoiding the grassy areas and heading for the mud.
