That radar map looks like it won't be long before it hits us. You all in the Hill Country need to let us know when it hits you....we'll be right behind you. I've got to run to Walgreens!

It looks like it will be perfect timing for the noon news freak out.

If it does fall or even do anything remotely close to what is happening in Houston.

if anyone takes some pictures, post them using the CD image posting service please. I can see those and can't see the other image hosting places here. They even block Sprint picture mail now

I hope it doesn't get here.

I've had a life time of it...I don't miss it.

We won't see any accumulations in town, but scattered flurries being reported all over town.

The reason Houston is getting more snow is due to enhanced moisture from the Gulf of Mexico (which is the same reason why storm systems usually bring more rain to East Texas than South-Central Texas). Water vapor satellite shows a pocket of dry air over our area that came in from Mexico. Most of that will have worked out of the system by the time it makes it to the Houston area.

This pocket of dry air is the reason why models the past couple of days dropped snow totals in SA and is also why we're not seeing much snow today.
