Ah, gotcha! The *thought* of going out there right now makes me shiver! And I gotta go out there soon and round up our rotten cats to bring them inside just so that they can pee all over stuff . Dumb cats! I love 'em, but HATE how they think they need to pee on anything that's in the house! (Which is why the ONLY time they come in the house is when it's gonna freeze outside.)

I went out to check out the moon just before the Spurs game started and it was freezing cold! Hubby said it was going to be in the 20's tonight by the feel of the air. I stopped looking at the moon and covered up the plants, brought others inside. My computer widget indicated 45 degrees when I came in, but there was no way it was 45! When I checked the closest weather underground station, the temp was 39 degrees. Now it's 34.7 at almost midnight. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

The rivers are flowing like a long white train right now. Brushing off the cobwebs on the kayak. Can't wait.

Where is Arvil Ave. and Elmer? PDDTW100 - Street Closure Data

I want some ice over here

and that list doesn't include Potranco/1604, but it is closed. I just drove by less than 30 minutes ago and there are barricades along with a couple BCSD cars. So don't even try it.

IMO, it's hard not to feel silly or ungrateful complaining about too much rain after going for so many months with almost no rain.

I'm not complaining about it. I'd much rather give my dogs dirty looks for going on the rug instead of getting their paws wet than deal with another summer like last summer.

You found an upside. I got soaked today walking to the car after the wind wrecked my umbrella. It's hard for me not to gripe.

I mapped the intersection of Arvil Ave and Elmer on Google Maps, and it's on the West Side, northeast of where Old Hwy 90 meets up with Hwy 90 (north of Lackland AFB). Arvil Ave crosses Leon Creek. I'm pretty sure they meant "flood" instead of "ice".
