same here, I really thought it'd be all over town too. Nothin on the west side? seems kinda odd, isolated is better than nothin. Fill up them creeks.

Has the temperature at least gone down by lackland? It went down at least 10 degrees once the rain started over here.

Lackland area ended up getting hit like everywhere else....this was a good one...need a few more. Maybe not quite as hard, but we need some more.

Just walked out on my break here at work and the first thing that hit me like a ton of bricks was the smell of WET DIRT!!!! Haven't smelled much of that lately. The other thing was a beautiful lightning storm far off in the Northwest. Absolutely beautiful.

It's a good morning

Kuwait is indeed a wee bit on the hot side - I'm working right now on an oilfield in southern Kuwait (the other side from you near the Saudi border)
and the thermometer outside my office - in the shade around 2 PM registered 50 degrees, i.e. 132 degrees Farenheit. It's now "cooled down" to the mid hundred and teens. It's a dry heat, though, sometimes less than 10% humidity in the desert away from the Arabian Gulf where we work. I've been in it for 4 months and you just get used to it. Run from car to office to home and try to avoid spending too much time in the field and in the A/C.

Hanging out on 1604 and Nacodoghes...it's dark, very windy, and what is that I smell? Is it? Can it be? RAIN!?
