We’ve gotten close to 4 inches of rain up in the Canyon Springs/Timberwood Park area. Fox TV said this is already the 5th wettest September in recorded weather history.

We’ve gotten about an inch this morning in Canyon Springs. It hasn’t been really all that heavy but it has been pretty steady since about 7 AM. I need to venture out and empty our rain gauge as it only holds 5 inches which is about what we’ve gotten in the last 24 hours up here.

Who else is keeping track of this month's rainfall. I know ours is over 15 inches out here, but I just wonder how soggy your month was?

The weather has cooled down...at least for now which is nice.
Was hoping to mow the yard after the rain
but more rain is in the forecast, possibly Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm liking the lower temps, not all of this rain though. I remind myself of back home and it could be worse...it could be a foot of snow!

Curious...where are you from that you could get a foot of snow in mid September?

Pancho, for goodness sake, I was referring to the fact that rain beats snow any day at this time in my life. Of course it doesn't snow back there in September. I spoke with my son this morning and it was 53. I was referring that I personally cannot complain about rain. I can understand why you folks would because from what I have heard you've received more than what's normal for here.
